JESSICA ROBICHAUD

This project was completed by Ben Bailey and Jessica Robichaud for Fourth Year Comprehensive Design Studio.  This phase of design included exploration of Mechanical Systems.  A Geothermal system for heating and cooling was intergrated into the glass and steel model with the assistance of concrete floor plates to house the sytem.  The modules interior space was closed off to the elements and conditioned in the summer months.  Operable windows and ventilation stacks are used in the months that are comfortable enough for natural ventilation.
